Key Ballah is a writer born and raised in The Greater Toronto Area. She is the daughter of an Immigrant father and a Canadian mother. She studied Women’s and Gender Studies at both Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and York University in Toronto, Ontario. She is the author of a collection of poems entitled Preparing My Daughter For Rain and has been known to produce work that focuses on her experiences navigating womanhood.
